Setup the Mail Client

Few important notes:

  • Incoming IMAP Settings: Follow the instructions for employees. No VPN client is needed for receiving mails from outside the university network.
  • Outgoing SMTP Settings: If you follow the instructions for employees, you can only send emails when connected to the university network. You will need to setup and run a VPN Client to send mails from outside the university network. Find the download links and instructions here.

Nextcloud Mail-Client Setup

You can also setup your mail client in our nextcloud (https://cloud.cps.unileoben.ac.at).

Note that with this online client, you can always send mail, even when being not connected to the university network.
