Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Elmar Rueckert is the chair of Cyber-Physical-Systems at the Montanuniversität Leoben. His research group investigates autonomous systems, machine and deep learning, embedded smart sensing systems and computational models.

Dr. Daniel Tanneberg has graduated under the supervision of Prof. Jan Peters and Prof. Elmar Rueckert in 2020 at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. Since 2021 he is working at the Honda Research Institute (HRI) in Offenbach, Germany. In his doctoral thesis he  investigated machine learning algorithms for human-like learning and tactile manipulation.

Ms. Svenja Stark, M.Sc. investigated in her doctoral thesis intrinsic motivation learning strategies for motor skills acquisition in robots. She started her thesis in November 2016 and was supervised by Prof. Jan Peters and Prof. Elmar Rueckert at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
